Donald Trump is stilly wildly popular
Just take a moment to digest this graph from 538. In what is likely to be Trump’s worst bungle in his entire presidency (so far!) he still manages to capture about 45% of the nation’s blessing. This number is unbelievably high despite a pandemic that is ravaging the health of Americans, destroying the economy, and showing just how ill-equipped he is to handle something he has known about since at least January.
I have held this belief since the beginning of his presidency, but now is a good time to be reminded that no matter what this man or his administration does, he has an extremely likely chance of being re-elected again.
If he’s doing this badly and still maintaining 45% approval, can you imagine when he does something right how high this number will go?
